Born and raised in Vietnam, Dr. Pham came to the US when she was 17 with her family. She realized she wanted to become a dentist during her last year of Dental Hygiene program after a patient told her, “I just want to smile.” After earning her Dental Hygiene degree from Perimeter College of Georgia State University in 2015, she continued her undergraduate education at Georgia Gwinnett College and at the same time worked as a part-time hygienist on the weekend. Her dream finally came true as she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2021
She had an opportunity to visit Tallahassee twice where her fiancé was working at the time. During her visits, she happened to learn that there were no Vietnamese dentists in Northern Florida. Coming to the US as such a late age, she understood the struggles and difficulties of not being able to communicate well with people. Thus, she decided to move and work in Florida. Dr. Pham hopes to use her skills, knowledge, and the ability to speak fluently both English and Vietnamese to serve people, especially the Vietnamese community living in the Northern Florida area.
As a professional and ethical individual, Dr. Pham always places patients, their wellbeing, and their safety as her top priorities. Her ultimate goal is for patients to have good experience and to feel comfortable. Dr. Pham loves spending time with her family and her two cats, Coco and Lulu. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and reading when not working with patients.
